Motiv-8 has provided disco entertainment at the Inn on the Lake hundreds of times, well before Cumbrian hoteliers Kit and Charles Graves bought the Hotel in 2000. They re-opened the The Inn on the Lake on 1st March 2001, with general manager Gary Wilson at the helm.
At this time wedding celebrations were held in the Lake View Resturant, and by 2003 evening celebrations had been moved to the Ramblers Bar. Purpose built in 2016, the Candle Room is now the hotel's primary function suite.
