Motiv-8 considers health & safety very important. This is why we carry full Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and make sure that all of our equipment is tested annually PAT tested for electrical safety.

Most venue's now insist entertainers have both PLI & PAT, so it is worth checking that your DJ or Band is covered - Otherwise the venue could turn-away your entertainment without notice.

Unfortunately, Public Liability Insurance is not a legal requirement, but in today's world of "no win, no fee" legal cases - it is a necessity.
If you book entertainment without Public Liability Insurance and something happens due to negligence, the courts will turn to the entertainer first. If the entertainer does not have cover, then they will turn to the person who hired the entertainment and the venue owners.

In a nutshell, you'll be pleased to know we have full Public Liability Insurance to protect you and your guests, and all of our equipment including the cables are tested for electrical safety annually.

We would be more than happy to supply you, or any venue with copies of our certificates for inspection.
